Hi Edward,

It does not come with a slurry stone. It generates mud quickly so there is really no need for one. If you want to try a good all purpose slurry stone this is what I use.

A diamond plate or small piece of a fine natural stone works very well. Should only need to build a thick mud if sharpening single bevel type knives though, for most normal sharpening your just wasting stone.
