Very nice to hear Adam. I reckon that'll be the next purchase once I run through this Bald Frog stuff... assuming I stay the course. ;)

If you get some of the Mikes soap you'll be in for a big treat over the bald frog soap. Mikes is a tallow soap vs the glycerin soap of bald frog. I got a bar of his lavindin & eucalyptus shave soap back when he first started out of his apartment as well as a sample of the only 3 other scents he had back then. I do find myself liking this soap and going to it about once a week. Still haven't finished off the samples but I do like the slightly sweet base note in all of his soaps.

I also like Mike's a lot and think it is great product.

If you like Mike's, you should also try Mystic Water Soap, another small-batch, tallow-based soap -- http://www.mystic4men.com/ Michelle's soaps are my mainstay right now, just edging out Mike's mainly on the way that they feel after I shave.

Either of these can be finicky on lathering, but both are world-class products if you give yourself the time to learn how to work with them.

just finished using a batch of Mike's. I love it but I am on a " best soap spree" next up is Dr. Harris, then mitchels wool fat and Tabac. going to be hard to be Mike's
