B52 carbon steel and is a heavy hitter
what you think
specs are
193mm edge 62mm tall at heel about 7mm thick
hollow back flat grind front that i hand honed convex to edge 8k grit finish

BUTCH <> She's a looker for sure. Profile seems to employ an interesting radius from tip to heel whereas it looks like the heel is actually shorter than just ahead of it. Of which, I think would be quite interesting to feel out.

the back side hollow was only slightlu more tricky then others i have done since there as a more bely to the blade (compared to sushi knives )

I think the way the Uraoshi sharpening has turned out reveals what a precise blade you have made here it looks as close to perfection one can get .
