Hello,

I mostly deal with mackerel and aji and would like to know if you have a Tojiro Aogami Steel Deba 165mm available? If you do, how much is it?

Thank you very much for the information.

Sincerely,

Chijang

Hi Chijang,

I can special order them but I currently don't stock that knife. We are getting some really nice white #3 debas in shortly from Kaneshige and for the price they are going to be my go to recommendation for best value debas. They're made by one of the premier blacksmiths in Sakai and they're affordable. I should have them in a few days here: http://www.chefknivestogo.com/kawh3de18.html

I recommend you give it a try. I think you'll really enjoy it.

The mentioned Kaneshige deba is now in stock.

Having looked through what CKTG has to offer in the very broad $75 to $350 price range, as well as some pieces from a variety of other vendors, I'm really looking forward to getting mine in a couple days as my first deba, destined for moderate, in-home use for its traditional fish-butchering use.
