Hi Mark!

Hope you are doing well and you are fine!

I am interested for a Kikuichi elite carbon sujihiki 270 mm.

Now I want to ask some questions: Is the knife cladded- sandwiched to a soft metal that does not react?
2. Is the logo embossed-anaglyph as shown in the video at second 19? or is it by ink?
3. Is any cheap saya available?

Thank you very much, have a nice day!

It's mono steel.

I think the 270mm saya fits that knife.

On the Kikuichi Elite Carbon Gyuto I had, the logo was stamped into the blade and the bottom of the stamp was black. Not sure if they are still done that way, but I believe that they are! It is a solid mono steel. If you are looking for a carbon core, stainless clad suji, there are some out there, but they are much more expensive! Kanehiro and Masakage are the first two that come to mind.
