Yeah, the tweak was accidental :) My red line slipped a bit when epoxying, so it didn't cover the whole birds beak part of the handle. This is one knife that drove me nuts between the epoxy hardening too quickly, the red liner slipping and when I was drilling/cutting the liner material, the blade slipped and sliced all the way through the back of the liner, so there is a glue line where the liner should be. I'm gonna use it as a test bed for some different wood finishes to see what I like the best and then rehandle it again once I get my finish choice ironed out. I usually prefer carbon blades (or carbon clad with stainless), but this one is growing on me!
