I have both paper and plastic. Perhaps yours have better glue than mine.

This is where I plan to setup my Apex ... a 55 x 25 x 1.25" granite slab remnant atop a repurposed clothes dresser in my garage. Snagged it for $100 cash ... a real steal.

I use the same table for making flat breads for my outdoor CI flat top.

OK, back on topic ... promise.

I have that exact same labeler, in silver, and use it for my spice bottles.

Ok, I just placed my order for the Apex essential, with the Shapton GS set, angle cube, and DMT plate with universal stone holder.

I already have a 60x pocket microscope on order via amazon, so I think I'm good to go.

Dull blades beware.

p.s. I'll probably toss the water bottle that comes with the set ... I like to use a small plant mister instead. Better coverage, less water.

I first use an engraver to mark the grit on the aluminum back plate.

Then I use a sharpie to color in the engraving - after a few washes the sharpie washes off, but remains in the engraving grooves for better visibility.
