I would love to have a wishlist/save for later feature in the shopping cart. I always find more things that I can afford, and it would be nice to be able to keep track of these on the website for the next purchase round, so I do not have to go digging for them again on the site.
That list of saved items would also show you there status (in/out of stock) and maybe ETA when it is going to be back in stock.
See this feature at amazon. I use it all the time. Amazon even notifies you when an item in your save for later list has had a price change.

I invited our developer over to take a look at this thread so keep suggestions coming. We're going to be doing work on the site for the rest of the year so we can do lots of projects big and small.

Would be nice to make it easier to find the posts in which we are involved. Some forums highlight the messages. Some also can differentiate between replies and initiating a new post.

Sometimes I ask a question on a forum, then can't find it again...not just this forum but other types as well. Feel like whoever may have answered my question or comment may think I'm somewhat of a dork's dork for ignoring them.

Right under the date/login button in the upper right hand corner is a "view your posts" link. I had the same frustrations until someone pointed it out to me:)

if you go to user control panel and under your #of post it has "show your post". It will show you all your post there too.

Guys this thread is mostly about our store www.chefknivestogo.com

They are not doing any work for this forum. We do have a forum issues page here:

Oops. Then in that case, how about a "compare" button and/or a "wishful thinking cart" to gather in one spot the knives we come upon that we're interested in.

1. Have full/all/more diamention of knives
2. Standard pics of all sides of knifed next to a ruler.
3. Knife description "best for....". I.e. Push cutters, home cooks. Similar to knife recommendation thread.
