I've hired a part time developer to help me clean up the site and make small improvements to the website. If you have suggestions let me know. I'll post on the things we're working on as we move forward.

We're going to work on a whole host of issues that have been accumulating for years.

Improve the check out process.
Speed the load speeds.
Try to get an inventory system set up.
Work on SEO
Improve the reviews module
Tinker with site search
Migrate all items into the shop by type sections
More specs

There's more.....

I like the on-line inventory idea.

The checkout sucks as it is now. I placed an order yesterday, I wanted to use my mastercard, I'd get an error each time I tried to finish the purchase. I ended up having to go the paypal route. very frustrating. Glad to see you are looking at it. It's exactly the kind of thing that drives customers to other places to buy stuff.

I would seriously consider touch screens and smart phones/tablets as more people migrate to these technologies. More and more I see younger people going to their cell phone before the computer. Also chefs don't always have easy access to a desktop so if a co-worker says "Hey, where did you get that", you can show them right then and there (assuming the boss looks the other way at kitchen employees using phones during work hours :) )

LOL I thought it was just me having checkout issues. The site could use some improvement.

If you could pick the top two issues with the site... what would they be? I have my own thoughts, but I was wondering what you all think...

Check out and inventory. Everything else is pretty cool.

What do you mean about inventory? Do you mean abundance of products? Product availability? Or problems maneuvering and finding products? Or something else... Just curious..

For me I mean am easier way to find products and availability. Would like to see all the products in a group. Also, would like to know number available.
Would be awesome, but don't know if it is possible it if you would want to post when next shipment is coming.

Checkout and the review boxes. It's a pain in the butt posting a review sometimes, the box is impossible to see.

Geez I hope Mark doesn't get upset with all the complaints that are about to come pouring in. Oh well, you asked for it! lol :D
