i am still deciding on gyuto between

Kikuichi Performance TKC 240mm Gyuto

vs

Kikuichi Warikomi Damascus Gyuto 240mm

or any recommendation? under 400?
(decided to get takeda gyuto 240 later on but want to get knife before takeda to start with thank you)

If your wanting to buy now it's going to have to be the TKC. The Damascus is out of stock.
There is a ton of good gyutos for under $400.

Of the two, the TKC is a far better blade. No comparison in my book.

Other than those two, as Jeff said, there are a TON of great knives with a budget like that. What are you after?

The TKC would be a great knife. If it's on the radar, I can't hardly recommend against it.

The Konosuke HD's are great, as are the Goko's, as are......but the TKC is great too.
