Here's something I've never done before.
Hunting/camp knife from 1084 carbon steel. Handle is stabilized spalted maple burl.
Having never made, or really even used such a knife, I just kind of winged it having been given carte blanche from the customer. Looked up a few designs, and made what I thought would make a good example.
Knife is made from 0.1875" (3/16") stock, and is flat ground down to 0.02" at the edge with a distal taper.
Turned out fairly nice.....but now it's back to some kitchen knives.
