Here are four ways to squeeze apart an onion. Sharp, this knife is not.

That trick with the fork is neat. ;)

I am no great cook, nor especially skilled with knives, but damn. That was just painful to watch.

Better title:

How to make an onion into smaller pieces, for those who:
- lack a sharp knife
- have plenty of time
- don't mind wasting a lot of product
- don't have a recipe that calls for any particular consistency of size of the onion pieces
