At CKTG we have the 20x loupe, the 30x & 45x micros, and the USB Veho. Michiel uses a cool micro in his last video; later stating its available on Amazon.

What's your favorite, why, and where did you buy it?

I just have the 20x from CKTG, though I'm not the fanatic that most are.....yet. I do use the loupe a lot.

I have a 10x and a 20x that I bought locally....don't know the brand sorry.

I prefer the 20x over the ten, so if I had just one that would be it.

I've got the 45x CKTG has. I love it! Technically it's a microscope, but it works like a loupe. And no focusing problems.

Best bargain on the side next to the Artifex knives.

I guess my dilemma is that I have the 20x loupe & I dont find the magnification to be significant enough to really analyze the scratch pattern. I mean, I can see the scratches & can easily recognize inconsistencies in the edge, but it's not really defined enough to look in the grooves of the scratches. I guess the 45x is the way to go. Just gotta try to find that one Michiel says is on Amazon to compare before pulling the trigger.

Thanks for all the input...
