Here is a look at the new Artifex. We made a nice upgrade with the handle on this generation. The handle is made from pakka wood and we tapered the handle at the front a bit for more comfort. It's really made the knife look good and it feels good in the hand too.

Ordered 2 already :) Are the handle scales glued/epoxied to the tang or just the rivets? I'm going to do new handles for mine :)

I'm pretty sure they glue them. You'll find out soon enough. :)

Yeah, I have a chisel set aside for handle removal :) Any chance at getting Lasers or Artifex's w/o handles as an option for those of us who have to have a pretty handle on everything?

I will have new picks of the (marauader) artfex as I am calling it because of the new handle by 8 tomorrow. Just did one and it is perfect and beautiful and sold. Jmbullman

Yes to the lasers, Addicts, Fanatics and Ultimatums. No to the Artifex for now. I could consider doing these in the future. I was playing with the idea of doing some Devin Thomas Damascus artifex's for real cheap and those I would do custom handles on.

Hi James, how do you like the new handles? You're one of the few guys that have seen them (althought that won't be for long since 30 of them went out in the last couple days)

Handles are very nicely shaped! Flush to the tang, no sharp edges, comfortable in use!
