Our Artifex (pronounced Art e Fex) line is now #2 in overall sales and the honesuki has been one of the top sellers. My question is do you think a left handed version would sell well enough for my to make a hundred of them?

As far as I know there are no good and inexpensive left ground honesukis around. I would love to offer this if there was good interest.

Mark,

I'm not a lefty, but I think you'd sell a bunch of them. AFAIK, the only way to get a left-handed honesuki is to go the custom route.

It's in the Constitution that lefties wanting a Honesuki cannot be discriminated against.

could be a good idea making a tally for knives that have a bunch of lefties are asking about and see how that would make you some money and order up enough to at least "quell" the demand every once in a while.

As a lefty I would definitely get one. Just like Mark said, there are almost zero lefty ground knives at any affordable price. Count me in for a honesuki!

I don't know if a hundred is a minimum order but if not maybe you could start with fifty and see how well they sell.
