Thank you for replying so quickly!

Are you right handed? Yes.
Do you know how to sharpen? I am a beginner.
Do you like to rock the knife or push cut primarily? I mix it up.
Do you want a stainless knife? Doesn't really matter. I've always owned stainless steel knives, maybe it's time to try something new.
Do you want to get a western handled knife or Japanese handle? Either will work. I am currently using a Wusthof Classic Ikon.
How much did you want to spend? 100-200

Do you mind if I post your question on our forum? No.
Thank you,

Here are a couple I would suggest you look at:

Sakai Takayuki does a good knife at a good price. They offer it in a wa handle or a western handle. These are stainless knives and easy to care for. Here is the section page where you can see them:

I love this knife by Konosuke. This is what I would get if I were you. It's thin, light, hard and super sharp out of the box. The fit and finish on this knife is great and the steel is top notch:

If you have some questions on other knives let me know. Shuns are pretty good knives but they're kind of common and not as good as the above in my opinion.

If you want to try something different:

Fun knife...carbon...definitely different than a Wusthof Ikon.

I can't wait for the Tanaka Kurouchi Wa Gyutos to arrive. These look good from the pictures I got. I know Shigeki worked hard on them: http://www.chefknivestogo.com/at14dipl.html
