I am about 6'3" and I'm looking for a knife with a large handle to fit my hand. I own a Montana with a huge handle which is fine. At work I was borrowing the chef's fujiwara, but the handle was way too small. I found myself switching to his mac 10" chefs knife, which was a lot better but still felt small to me. The Artifex would be the obvious choice but I dont know if the handle will be large enough. How does the Artifex comare to the Mac handle, and would there be a knife you would recommend? I dont have huge hands but I think they may be larger than some of the other cooks. The Fujiwara and Wusthoff are out of the question. Thanks, Nick
NICK <> Well above the Artifex's price point, but well below the Harner is the veritable Suisin INOX Honyaki. It has an overall large handle, particularly in its girth, and it is a truly awesome piece of steel.
