Thanks Mark, for starting this post, and to you both for commenting! This Nakiri is some of Randy Haas Jr's High Carbon damascus.. With a handle of amazing and beautiful buckeye burl! (One of my favorite natural handle materials)..

taz, The "Out of this world" Meteorite damascus gyuto has been a very popular knife. It was just featured in BLADE magazine and also displayed at a HUGE culinary show in DC a couple of weeks ago! Heres a few pictures of the knife.

Specs. 240mm blade. Forged by Randy Jr. of HHH Knives. Materials used were Meteorite and 1095. combined to make this "Galaxy pattern"
The handle is a fossil piece of mammoth tusk/ivory. Its spectacular figured stuff.. The bolsters/ferule is Galaxy damascus..

The knife came in a presentation box made from Curly maple and lace wood. with cocobolo burl handle. Inside on the red velvet the knife rests with a piece of the raw meteorite and a lab of the mammoth ivory.

We are very proud of this one. and happy to share the images. :)

God Bless
Randy

The fact that Randy and Jr. did it with an actual meteorite is even more cool.

Good to see you here HHH.
