I found a steal of a deal on this set http://www.amazon.com/Henckels-Kramer-Z ... B007MAFFZQ got the stones and sink bridge at a local store for 59.99 lol the clerks didn't know what they were selling. any was wondering if anyone else had experience with these stones? Apparently they are made by naniwa chosera?????? With glass backing. They are def interesting every grit leaves a high polish almost mirror was wondering if this is typical of the chosera line?

looks like a ripoff of shapton glass stones. i watched that video of bob kramer showcasing those stones and the bridge on youtube and he did mention they were by chosera. can't really say anything to help. all i know if they're from chosera then they're definitely good performers.

Yeah they seem to be ok so far I don't really like the feel of them as much as my besters or rika but I can't flaw them at essentially free I don't think I could justify paying what they ask for them but s once they were free with the sink bridge the seem like a great deal wish I had someone who had used them to compare my experience with stones is fairly minimal other than working with norton oils and the starter kit from cktg.

They are Naniwa stones, but I doubt they are Choseras. Usually black stones are Silicon Carbide for the abrasive, and not Aluminum Oxide(like most stones). But there's no telling how they perform by just a name brand and a guess, someone would have to use them.
