Hello,

I am about to buy my first Japanese stone, but first wanted to ask a few things that hesitate me. This stone, the Ozuku Asagi (Koppa), seems to fit my needs perfectly. I can't spend a lot, so I figured i'd start with a small sized high grit hard stone primarily for maintaining a 4" 154cm blade. On the description page, you say that the new batch have Kanji stamps, which means the stone may be different than the picture. Do your Ozuku Asagi (Koppa) stones vary significantly between each? For instance, the picture you post for the Hideri Namito Koppa is much more square than the Hideri stone you use for your video. In fact, the Hideri in your video is beautiful, and shaped much like I would want, personally. I believe that ppl do get what they pay for, which leads me to ask you why the Ozuku Asagi (Koppa) is on sale. Usually sale items are labeled because 1.) little recent sales 2.) needed shelf space 3.) product lacks quality 4.) promotion.

Would it be too much to ask if I could see a picture of your Ozuku Asagi (koppa) stones in stock? Looks aren't everything when it comes to performance of a stone, but I sure would like to see.

Thank you for your time.
-chad

Hi Chad,

Yes we get them in and each stone is a little different by size and shape but they all seem to be in the 5-6 inch length range with various thicknesses. I'll email you a picture of the few I have and you can choose which one from the group.
