You know, giving it to the police sounds like a good idea. Could have been stolen and dropped by a robber. ? I wouldn't touch the thing! That is just so weird, how often do you find a box and keys with it? Give it to the Madison Bomb Squad, tell them one of your admirers sent it to you.

Have you shaken it to listen for what's inside? Wait no, don't shake it, that could be bad! In any case, red wire is usually the power.

I dont here any ticking. That's a good sign. I'm keeping it out in the garage until I get up the gumption to open it. Maybe their's money in it.

Really Mark Pandora's box lands on your front lawn and you want to open it. Best case it is a box full of money...which even as best case has all kind of questions. Give it to the police.
