I was looking at ordering one of the Tojiro ITK Kiritsuke Gyuto 240mm when the came in. I live in Canada. I was just wondering why you can't ship the knifes to Canada? I really love the ITK series. There great knifes and in the budget of a cook.

More than likely they have another vendor that covers the area... but this is a wild guess.

You should try living in Australia.
Availability of many, many things is governed by vendor agreements which have been in place since the year dot.
The local agent doesn't carry them and the vendor agreements prevent anyone else from sending them into Oz.
Probably 2 out of every five Home and Kitchen "recommended for you" listings on Amazon returns a "We are not able to ship this item to your default shipping address" message when I try to order, because of this type of arrangement.

lol, try living in a 3rd world country. barely anything gets here, unless you wanna go through "grey channels".
kidding aside, noone sells (practically anything) to my country unless it's insanely overpriced and still cheaper to buy online.
this is one of my main reasons for wanting to get from cktg in the first place coz they're willing to ship stuff out here.

is there no way to change there mind on ITK line at least. Any one that sell Tojiro in Canada in way over priced and dont have the knifes I want in stock.

Does this also apply to custom handle knifes?
