Ok

Lets try to consolidate information now.
Basic terms: Spine, choil, heel, belly etc.. we can probably get some pictures with neat little circles like replay guys in the NFL
Knife types, with general purpose, home user versus professional.
Handle types, materials, fasting etc..
Steel Types, sub categories of carbon, clad-carbon, and stainless
Grinds, bevels

Anything else and any volunteers to help start writing?

I'd say construction, san mai versus warikomi.

EDIT: when talking about respective clad knives.

While a lot is on their website
I think having a condensed shorter version for people that go here by looking for Shun or Global would be extremely useful rather than sending them off on another triad of searching in a new forum.

Totally agree. Our forum should have it's own glossery of terms so people that are here can learn our freaky language without going somewhere else.

I'm not as much as an expert as people here, but I can work on any subject that people don't want to tackle or I can help organize it.
