How exciting - I am super happy the AS Lasers are coming back, and I can't wait to see the new bags!

Mark, as a new owner of a Masakage Shimo 210, I noticed the new Kurosaki's are virtually identical, at least aesthetically, to the Shimo. Did Kurosaki strike out on his own, or is he still forging for Masakage with some latitude to establish his own brand?

I used the photo as a place holder. The real photos are being done by my guy Ryan right now and that's why I still have them stuck in the "incubator". The knives are hammered/clad with cherry handles. I have a a cover of a Japanese blade magazine that features them with a nice shot. I'll dig it out and show it and put it on the site too.

Kurosaki is still making the Shimos but these are different and I wanted to use his name to get him known in our little world. I have another line and maybe 2 coming later this summer that will be different from these 2 as well.

Those Kurosaki's look like they could give the prospective Anryu buyer a lot to think about... Little bit more expensive, but from my recent experience with his Shimo line for Masakage, he definitely makes a good blade.

Mark, it's a bit unclear on the product descriptions. Are these new Kurosaki knives iron clad or stainless clad?

Thanks - man, you've been busy!

Kato Damascus custom 240mm Gyuto just hit the site.

We got more Konosuke blue #2 gyutos in today as well.

Also, I have the new Laser Richmond Ginsans in hand. I'll have the no handle ones on tomorrow and I'll get the handles ones done shortly. I don't think I mentioned this recently but they're mono steel blades.
