To whom it may concern,
I purchased about a year ago the Richmond addict knife. I am having a hard time sharpening it. When I do sharpen it, it does not hold the edge very well. I understand that the knife touts a hard steel and the ability to hold an edge, but I am not getting great results. I have tried with a very good knife sharpening person using water stones etc by hand. Since I work so many hours I now purchased a sharpening system called apex pro. I get good results, but not great. Is there an angle that works best for the knife?

Try sending it to my Friend Shaun Fernandez. He'll sharpen it up really well for you and then you can start working on it with your edge pro after that. Shaun will sharpen it for free.
