This is by far the best knife I have ever held or owned. I never thought I would say that but this knife exceeds any hand made knife I have held. There are probably better ones but they would cost in the 600 dollar range or more. I usually say jmop (just my opinion) but this is not an opinion only fact in my minds eye. I will post a video here and pics elsewhere. I now give you Le Thiers Par Chambriard in black ebony handle. I was out of tomatoes so paper will have to do.

Thank you Jeff and the video is on you tube under Jm Bullock or click the link above to photobucket. I was out of tomatoes but I think you can see after sharpening the way it fell through cheap hard to cut recycled newspaper with no real grain pattern it will speak for it self. Now I need to figure out something for dinner that requires alot of cutting so I can check edge retention. I opened it up a bit so we shall see my brother. Peace to you and yours, jmbullman

Good to see your videos are better of quality - now work on your pictures. :)

The sound of that cut is truly indicative of a superb edge!!

Well done there!

:)

Link to another video. The knife was actually sticking to the wood literally it left edge indentions in the board it slowed down my cutting speed big time. Problem with my still shots is due to a condition medically beyond my control I shake when holding something even with two hands, guess its time for a camera and tripod.
