Yea please post a photo or video here if you have them Jason. I'm more interested in seeing you at your shop. :)

My camera can only take 1 hour of video so I got what I could. It was a great time and it was pretty awesome to talk with Murray one on one once the shop closed. He's a real nice guy with tons of solid advice, he even watched me while I sharpened today and shared tips and trick for sharpening different knives.

Overall it was just really cool day :)

I'm not on video :( I was the one filming.

Ok JB, time to share the love! Where's that video? Let's see that place. Tell us a little about your conversations with Carter, what kind of tips did you come away with? Inquiring minds would like to know!

Working on the video, been busy at work lately.

Surprisingly they were very basic. Mostly about ways to use more of the stone and the stones/grits used to finish specific steels. He keeps everything simple... Too simple for me actually. I'm a lot different when it comes to sharpening and far more technical. It was more of a re-assurance than anything, knowing that your simply doing something right can sometimes be the best advice.
