By the way, how does a Michigander move from the Great Lakes to the desert! LOL. Must be a great opportunity. Without giving away the farm or secret details, you need to let us know what kind of operation you'll be working with out there and what kind of day to day sharpening you'll be involved with. Unless of course, it's classified. I'm sure you'll represent MI well out there sir.

I will be working at the Phoenix Knife House sharpening all sorts of kitchen cutlery and most of all interacting daily with people that share a common interest. I have always wanted to live in a southern state and Arizona is the state I always had my eye on. I was never a fan of the cold weather so no worries I welcome the heat.... Year round!

Call it destiny, good faith, or pure luck but sharpening is who I am and what has allowed me to make great connections in life. Is guess this is life's payback for having passion in what one does.

Well, that sounds like a win-win situation for you then Jason. Congrats again and it will be good to hear about your day to day experiences once you're out there. Can't beat getting paid to do what you love.

Thank you, Sir

The area in general is all very nice out here, the drive in was probably one of the coolest sights I've ever seen. It's some beautiful land.

I quickly found the Nubatama 180, 1000, & 5000 to be a solid combo for most j-knives, the boss was even impressed by the edges :)
