Tall Dark and Swarfy said:"My family used to occasionally have Sunday brunch at the River Crab back in the late 70s. Maybe time is clouding the experience, but it was one of the nicest brunch buffets I have been to."

That's funny, the River Crab is where I worked in the early 90's.

Mothers day was record breaking for us yesterday. We completed 1107 seats between 10 AM and 2PM. Unbelieveably exhausting having had a 9 hr shift of nonstop buffet barrage.

Yeah, buffet helps alot. We minimize the amount of stored prep so we can have fresher ingredients. Pretty much everything we did is from scratch. Unlocked the doors at about 4 am to get the ball rolling with a crew of 17. 8-)
