Well the USPS let me and Tim down. I guess some of the members in the postal service got in to big a hurry to get off work today, like so many others. My knives didn't show up today. Don't know if they were overlooked on the delivery truck or just didn't make it to town. Oh well, they will be ready for Christmas dinner!
Tim thanks so much for your great effort in trying to get them to me so quickly! Your a good man Tim Johnson, I don't care what everyone else says about you!

Hmmm. The last tracking info shows when I brought them to the PO, and nothing after that?? I will go there on Friday and see what the heck happened.

When I ordered my knives from CKtG the tracking didn't seem to change from "Package received" or whatever (the first or second entry) until it got to the local post office... and then they delivered it the next day for some reason even though the package arrived EARLY in the AM if I remember right... lol I ordered it on Saturday and got them on Wednesday, so 3 business days total wasn't bad even though I think the USPS tracking said 2 day. lol
Point is it seems like they don't always update the tracking every step of the way like one would think they would. It can be aggravating to say the least when you are anxiously expecting a package. lol

Yeah, USPS tracking has been way off lately. Sometimes it tracks immediately and you can follow the progress, other times you get the initial track and then nothing, even though the package was delivered. I was trying to get the 300m Suji and ITK Bread Knife to Jeff B by Thanksgiving so he could use them

You did great Tim, it's all good! It's my fault for not getting everything to you sooner, we know things get crazy around the holidays. Now I don't have to rush you to get them done by Christmas!

Finally got some solid work time in!
240mm AS Laser, Starry Night handle of Bog Oak, SS spacer, Blue Box Elder Burl:
Kono Blue #2 Honyaki, Black Curly Maple Burl ferrule, Blue Mamooth Tooth spacer, Blue Curly Mango handle. The dyes didn't fully penetrate on the Mango, so it has some blue and some greenish tinge to it:
Murray Carter Funy on the top with African Blackwood Ferrule and End Cap, Spalted Tamarind handle. Fork has Karelian Birch Burl stabilized wood for the handle.

That 240 laser is one of the best looking knives I've seen. That handle combo with that blade is beautiful. Amazing work as usual!

Thanks! Yeah, the 240mm AS Laser is an awesome blade! The Starry Night handle is one of my favorite color combo's, too. It feels good to finally get caught up with some of this stuff and I have another 6 knife handles I am working on for Christmas gifts for a friend, but they are all black Micarta and black Micarta pins.

Beautiful work as always Tim! That blue box elder burl looks great on the starry night handle. Love my AS Laser, it may have to get a handle upgrade later on in life.
