I would agree, Suisin makes one of the most repsected Debas out there in the Honyaki line I believe. I would love a Honyaki but I could only justify the cost of the Kono.

no matter how many knives ive tried, i always go back to my glestains. i like that they have a lot of weight to them and they hold an edge like no other. ive never had an issue with chipping and they are really easy to sharpen. i highly recommend them. i hope this helps.

Costco has a nice bulk pack. It gives a pure peanut flavor for sauces and curries.
