Tom, aka Lefty, has a couple of custom soaps made by Mike. Very nice. He has a sub forum here. Sharp and shiny shop. I like them, and have both scents.

Tom gave me a sample of some of his soap ( I don't shave so ended up giving it to a co-worker) but the smell on it was amazing, a unique smell. If it was made from Mike then I would recommend it

Using a tin of Orange, Black Pepper, and Cedar wood right now. I love this soap it gives a really slick and very moisturizing lather. Great mild sent that my loves. It isn't the easiest lathering soap I use, compared to something like Cella, or Palmolive. It takes a little more time loading the brush than some soaps, and the amount of water needed is more than you might think. It can appear that you have great lather and by the end of your last stroke it is definitely too dry. Overall an awesome soap that is slightly finicky.

Mike makes a very good soap. I especially like the Barbershop scent as well as the Orange Cedar and Black Pepper one. many people seem to like the Hungarian Lavender as well.

If you'd like to try a really nice soap maybe try one of the Strop Shoppe SE w/tallow soaps.
These are some of my absolute favorites and are in my opinion much better than the Mike's.

Hey Adam, did you get a soap with a scent added? I had checked them out before, half their choices were out of stock.
So I bought Proraso instead. Stuff lasts forever.
I don't use a straight razor...YET
I do have a Rolls Razor, which is basically a 1/4 straight razor. I use it once a month or so on the weekends when I can take my time.
But during the work week, I lather up and cut it off using modern technology.

There's a good demand for Mike's and as a result they are often out of stock on a lot of the soaps. It's worth catching them in stock as it's a pretty good soap.

Try the RazoRock XXX tallow when it's back in stock on about April 30th at Italian Barber. It's excellent and only about $10.

Thanks for the recommendations, going to order a few of these to "branch" out! Just started wet shaving about a month ago so still learning the ropes.
