Up for sale today is a 3.125" paring knife.

Details:

Steel is AEB-L....the perfect steel for a parer in my opion. :)
Handle is a two part handle design. Top is African Blackwood, bottom is maple burl. There are dark red liners as well. Three Corby bolts hold the handle to the tang.
Total blade length is 3.125"
Overall length is 7.25", so the handle is just over 4" long.
Blade width at widest is 0.75"
Spine thickness at the thickest (I'll have to update later to be more precise) but it's right at 1/16" or 1.75mm and tapers to nothing at the tip.
Edge thickness before sharpening was 0.06"

Price is $115.00 and is being sold conditionally as follows:

This handle is experimental in a lot of ways. I've left it sitting around for about a month now to make sure all is well and it's fine. But, it would not surprise me that one day the epoxy joint between the two woods fails and the handle pieces start to separate. I've used three bolts and epoxied the scales to the liners to try and prevent this, but still....it could reasonably happen. Because of this, I'm offering it for sale under the condition that if it does ever fail (it may not) I will replace the handle with a single piece pair of scales from wood I have on hand for free including return shipping to you. All you would need to do is send it here. I'll make the handle replacement my first priority. It's a beautiful handle and I'm excited to offer it for sale....but please be understanding if it ever does fail.

Thanks for looking.

Nice, I was hoping this thing would sell fast... otherwise I'd lose all faith in humanity. ;) Great job Mr. Marr, that's seriously beautiful work.
