Thanks for the reply.
I am looking for a cleaver, along the lines the of Konosuke style of my current knife, ie. very well made but simple and functional. Do you have anything like that in stock?

If you want a stainless cleaver try the Sugimoto. I like it:http://www.chefknivestogo.com/sugimoto-cleaver.html
Or try mine. It came our really well:http://www.chefknivestogo.com/rifa1.html

I've actually used one of these and although I'm not a cleaver fan, this was a freaking fantastic knife:http://www.chefknivestogo.com/chclas20.html

I am a real cleaver fan. I used a CCK for awile and it was a great starter cleaver it is thin and light like your konosuke, but cheap so you can try it out and if using a cleaver not your thang you will not lose alot of money if you don't like it. the Fanatic is my go to, but I got the original with a belly which I prefer, but most people don't and the new fanatics have a flatter profile.I personally like have a non reactive blade too, but again that is a personal thing. Start out with the CCK you won't regreat it. Using a chinese cleaver for my prep work has made my life so much easier and you will feel a little bADASS

Oh and also with CCK if you decide to get it you will need to round out around the coil because the edges are sharp I had a friend use a dremel on it and it smooth it out nicely but use couldpobably get away with some sand paper

I'll certainly look over these knives carefully. I do have cleaver experience, but not with anything noteworthy.
The Richmond is the one catching my eye atm, but I'll sleep on it a little bit.
