I ordered the Green Brick last week and it was everything I was told it was, today I received the Latte 400 and been playing with both on some old stamped stainless and on a 40 yr old carbon steel.
These two stones work awesome together and glad I bought them. So if you want only two stones then these are the ones to get especially if you are new to freehand sharpening like me.
Once again thanks to those who replied to my last post. Your advise and recommendations were spot on.

Very nice! Thanks for the feedback, glad to hear you like the combo as much as some of us do as well. It's a 1 - 2 punch that works on a wide variety of steels to give you a great edge. And to take things one step further, the Snow White 8k is an incredibly good followup to the Green Brick. Just sayin...

Glad you like them.
They're good stones and they make quick work of most knives I sharpen.

+1 Thanks for sharing your experience. Shaun is right, once you get the bug, well . . . but also consider a strop. The 2k edge from a green brick is really great! It will polish up really nicely with some stropping!

Shaun... I have no doubt about the addition of Snow White will be an amazing set. I was going to start with the shapton glass until I saw your video. Happy I changed my mind.
But wondering about them too.
Mark....I like them a lot and great choice in pushing them so to speak.
Bad boy..... It is a very easy bug to get. A strop is on the list with a few other things. NAS (new acquisition syndrome) has already set in. Does it ever end?
