Knife Identification?

Sat Sep 14, 2013 4:05 am

Hello knife experts and fanatics.

I recently acquired a knife that had been sitting unused for many years in a drawer in Japan. Does anyone here recognize this knife by the kanji? The blade is roughly 180mm in length.

Awesome! Excellent detective work, thank you.

I'll get around to sharpening it this weekend and I'll see what it can do.

I appreciate the quick responses.
