Nice job on the knife. Looks great.

You mention changing directions during the polishing stage. Could you explain which directions you polish the blade? and in what order? I understand the concept but I am ignorant to the procedure of traditional polishing.

Atang. Basically from ground work, (220 or less if thinning up to 4k) I use the usual 45 degree sharpening angle, then at 5k and 6-8k (nats used) I go in an up and down motion and for 10k and the next higher I go from side to side. Hope that makes sense lol.

If you scroll down they have a photo. I've adapted different stones, but would like to get a full set of traditional stones one day.
