Does anyone have or used this knife? It's seem to be very thin, thinner than any other knife I have seen on cktg. Any kind of info or review would be sweet. Thanks http://www.chefknivestogo.com/kiswwadagy24.html

Wow, I just grabbed a random one and it was 1.85mm.

I have read so much about lasers, in fact I own the Richmond laser aeb-l, but I have never heard about this knife being brought up in conversations. It looks like a sweet knife and I know a lot of people say high praise about the tkc all the time

Do you have a saya that will fit this knife?

I'm racing-out-of-town right now, but I had to chime in quick. I'm REALLY impressed with this knife... really. It is thinner than my Suisin IH... and it doesn't get much thinner than that! It is 8 grams heavier, but still a feather. I love the D-handle; aesthetically it has this awesome biased grain wood in rosewood. It's a brown rosewood, very little red. It has a real bulky neck, but strangely... I like it; supports the pinch really well. Usually, I like some gap between ferrule & choil from my finger to wrap under, but on this knife... I simply like the fit. I'm enjoying the profile, and the knife is really nimble... as one would expect of a 154 gram 240. More later, but I'll leave with... there is something inherently KISS about this knife, and simple is goooood.
Here's a profile/overall comparison with the Suisin Inox Honyaki & Kanehiro AS:

Hmm. I wonder why this isn't a more popular/talked about knife. I remember asking about this one months ago and got little response. The aebl at 60hrc driving people away? Seems to have most of the attributes we all look for with a reasonable price tag.

I agree. It's a nice knife and under appreciated. Maybe I should give one to Shaun for a video to show it off??

I know I'd be interested. I had long been setting aside my interest for a Konosuke given all the praise it gets as a must own knife, but recently I feel like there are some new contenders for my next elite gyuto, although I have a hard time grasping how much better it can get than my wa TKC.

Ok, the wheels are in motion.
We'll see what Mr. Knife Fanatic thinks about it.
