Great review and it looks like another great knife from the Massakage family. How does the Katsushige 240 match up with Massakage Yuki? Other than the steel : blue#2/white2 and the cosmetics, how do they differ in cutting performance? BB

The Yuki is thinner and lighter overall, so it's more of a laser whereas this knife is more of a medium weight good cutter. I hope that helps.

Another good visual & informative review.
Not that I expected any less Shaun....you got it down good.

Thank you sir. I was playing with the idea of adding another camera angle around board level during the cutting part or something like that, still brainstorming to add a little extra.
BTW guys, I just passed 2,000,000 views yesterday, and I owe much of my encouragement to all of you here. The Youtube audience is rather easy to please, it's the knife knuts that scare me!

Really though, congrats dude, that's a cool milestone.

After watching this video I have to ask; how does it compare to the Konosuke SKD Tsuchime you reviewed? Seems like they are very similar with excellent FF and grinds. Looks like the Kono isnt as tall, and is a bit thicker on the spine. Anything else?

Thanks again guys, the I truly appreciate all the support. As to which knife I personally like more; I like the Kono a little better, even if it is a little bit shorter height-wise. This knife is no slouch by any means, but the Kono is just hard to beat if you like a weightier knife. If you only like lasers then the Kono wouldn't be for you.
