Katsushige Anryu Kurouchi Suminagashi 165mm for sale. Barely used. Maybe 8-9 times for light duty with home cook. http://www.chefknivestogo.com/kaankusuna.html
The question always comes up - why sell it? A nikiri just didn't fit. Some would say "didn't resonate" and I now understand what they are talking about. But my loss could be your gain. I bought it because a) I wanted to experiment with a nikiri, b) I wanted to try a K. Anryu blade in hitachi white and c) I have a couple other K. Anryu blades and really, really like the fit and finish, and performance, so I thought this would be a good fit.
I measure it right at 165mm on blade length. Height at heel to spine is about 52mm. It gets a tad higher (53.5mm) about mid way down the blade. I wasn't sure the blue handle would make me happy, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I never put this on stones or a rod, only stropped it on horse hide with 1.0 micron paste once (when it came out of the box).
Blade edge and road are in great shape, like new. A little patina is forming, which is fine by me. Easy fix if you don't like it.
Comes in original packaging, CONUS, for $90. Apologize for the photos - only had time to snap with iphone.
