Thanks much, Adam. I appreciate it. I think this, or a gyuto would probably be a good first "good" Japanese knife for me. I have an Artifex 210, so this might just be the ticket for starting out.

I had been looking at the Kikuichi Warikoma Damascus, but it is out of stock. What do you think of this knife?
