Is the Tojiro a good knife?

I'm considering your Tojiro DP gyuto
1)should I spend a little more or money or is this knife going to satisfy my cooking needs?
2) Is 210mm = to 8"

My first J-Knife was a Tojiro DP Gyuto. It was a nice knife and it got me hooked. I have since stepped up in class and have a $400 gyuto that took it's place in my lineup. If you know you are likely to get the "bug" for these things, then you might consider skipping a step and go for a little bit better gyuto out of the gate? Just a thought... Have FUN!!

The 210mm is about 8.25".
