On CKTG the Idahone fine is listed as 1200 grit. I have seen on a few forums and a few web sites that this is an ANSI rating making it close to J3000. The grit ratings are different so 1200 is roughly similar to 3K for Japanese grits I think.
I'm glad you like it. I tend to recommend it a lot to customers since it's gentle on edges
