 Post subject: how to polish the non cutting edge of the blade?

how do you go about polishing the non cutting area of the blade? like the releaf and what not?

i would prefer not to use my stones for this.......

have you tried wet/dry sandpaper? go to any automotive store and get a bunch of grits going up to 2k and go to town. I go 400-800-1000-2000
