I recently ordered the Richmond Strop Kit and I am very impressed with the quality as well as your prompt service. I certainly hope to do business with you again in the future.
I am new to advanced sharpening (as well as Japanese knives) so I've got to do my homework. Which leads me to my question.
Approximately how many applications can I expect from the one bottle of Diamond spray on the 3 x 11 Balsa Strop? Basically, I'm wondering how thick to apply per use. Is there a trick to the application? I've watched most of your videos and I haven't found an answer. I've seen the application of the paste but not the spray.
Thank you again for your service and help. Hope you're having a good holiday season.

You don't want to over apply the spray to the substrate. I personally give my strop a spritz every 3rd or 4th time I use it or when it feels like it's not doing anything.
If you over apply it tends to clump up on the strop. Too little is the better alternative.

One bottle of diamond spray, I expect, will last me my life time and I bought it when I was 35 or so.
