Since everybody got tired of the Chambriard video I decide today was a good day to work on my Belovec Horomoto AS.http://youtu.be/2-QiTqtTvfg

Like a hot knife through butter. You produce a great edge. The Chambriard is a good looking knife too. Actually tried to find a place selling one just to see it's specs and wasn't able to. Keep on with those edges and recording to allow us to enjoy what you can do with that steel.

I appericated the comments and ill give you my progression, I make very very small jumps, I try to let the stone do the work not excessive pressure and there is nothing wrong with that way also. Most will find this as over kill but I think my edges speak for themselves as I usually list a video to go with if but if you want to see all my videos its on you tube under jmbullman2.
Stone progression like i said I make small jumps you may want to expermate.
10000 shapton pro
Green brick never skip it unless i am using shapton 2k
4k Ice bear ( a highly overlooked stone cuts like crazy)
8k Snow White
Horse or kangaroo strop
That was for this specific knife. I have different progressions for different knifes. Just ask and I will help anywhere I can. 9 times out of 10 its completely different sometimes straight shaptons,or shaptons with nubatamas. This sounds stupid but I let the knife tell me what it wants If it sounds funny on a certain stone I switch brands it all works out for the best. You have to decided for yourself by the feel. Peace and like I said most will disagree but this is how I do it. Peace jmbullman
