Michiel,

Thanks! Very instructive video! I'm going to try it the way you do with my WEPS stones.

You got some nice equipment too. Where did you get that loupe? And can that spritzer be bought online? The plant spritzer I use is nice for plant, since it spritzes you plants all over... but is less ideal for stones.

It's an empty CBN bottle. Ken gave it to me in one of my orders.
That loupe is from amazon I believe. 100x

I missed your video somehow Magnus. Completely different technique than mine, but it seems you get perfect results. I've been trying a few different techniques on naturals lately. Especially on Thuringians and Coticules.

yeah thats why i thought it would be fun to post it cuz we got to diffrent styles :) i like handstones aswell but for old wedges or whenever the blade is uneven. otherwise i find myself reaching for wider stones.

Nice that you mention it, Michiel. I was considering a natural stone to my collection for my straight razor and I was doubting between a Thuringen/Hunsrueck stone (which is the most common here) and a coticule (which are used quite a lot as well). I have not been able to find a good comparison on the net. Can you tell me the main differences?
