Hi all,

I am new to this forum but I'm a returning and very happy customer at Chefs knives to go. I recently
bought the richmond artifex 210 mm guyto in m390 and I have been delighted with the edge. It keeps
an edge for a very long time and it's tough, no micro chipping. I must say that it's the steel
that impresses me the most of all. Now I would like to have another knife with an m390 blade
with approximately 120 mm cutting edge and a $200 budget.
Could you give me any recommandation ?

Kind regards to all,

François.

So you are looking for a M390 Petty or Paring knife around 120mm? I haven't seen one around yet.

Or a steel with euivalent edge retention and toughness. No problem with steels being difficult to sharpen, as I use an edgepro pro with atomas and shapton gs stones : nothing resists to them !

When we cut up the sheets of steel for the 210s I instruct Lamson to squeeze in some 90mm paring knives and I'm sure they did this. So, these will be available in the future. My guess is I'll have some in the next 30 days.

Mark, are we going to see a 240mm Artifex in M390 at some point?
