"Yes, if any of us had any reason to believe that you were now interested in a 250 or 270 Funayuki... we would, for sure, be suggesting to take a look at the KS."

I really love my Anryu Hammered. It is a really great performing knife and is loaded with character.

If you are leaning thinner the Anryu the Masakage Yuki, and even the Kono Fujiyama would be more mid-weight knives compared to the Kono Wt#2 or HD2 lines. So you might consider leaning in that direction.

Thanks everybody! Definitely want to stay with the 210 size:-). I'll keep looking. Any idea on how long before the Anryu Hammered will be in stock, anybody?
Really wanting new knife:-)

Up to you whether you want to wait or not... lead times are highly unpredictable. Could be days, weeks or months... ok maybe it just feels like months when you want a particular knife ;)

Takeda's are iconic for a reason, fantastic knives.
I have had an eye on the Sasanoha, as I want one myself, but the regular one will be a great performing knife, as well if you like tall knives.
