Hi Ken:

Thanks for you advises, I ordered the ozuku asagi and the ohira tomae from Mark; I have the arashiyama 6000, 4000, 2000 and a coarse stones. What would you recommend me to add to my inventory in order to get wicked edges for all my knives.

Thanks in advance.

St.

Time to add some strops :) One of my favorites is the 0.75 micron CBN. I you want to start off going from the the stones you have the 0.75 is equal to a 24k stone and a nice transition and maintenance strop. From there you can jump to quarter micron CBN and then tenth micron CBN. This will give you excellent results. Using nanocloth to put these compounds is the best approach although balsa will give you decent results.
